The Mdina Grand Prix Classic Car Event consists of 4 days of activities with the climax being the classic car race on the 11th October. The circuit for the races will be the idyllic countryside beneath the imposing bastions of the old capital city of Malta, Mdina. The circuit is around 2.2km long and includes a combination of tight bends, sweeping curves and inclines that wind their way through the valley below Mdina.

Thursday 8th October - Hill climb
This is a stand alone event that gives competitors the chance to properly shake down their vehicles in preparation for the weekend's races. This year's hill climb will take place at at night and competitors will have to tackle the 'Ta' Pinellu" hill, a 2.5km stretch with some exciting bends and corners that promise to test the cars and their drivers.

Friday, 9th October - Le Concours d'Elegance
The Concours d'Elegance will this year be taking place in the recently renovated gardens outside the imposing walls of Mdina. The organisers will be inviting selected car collectors to bring out some true, classic automotive gems and display them in a setting like no other.

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October - Races
Saturday starts off with two practice sessions in the morning, which will allow the drivers to familiarise themselves with the circuit. In the afternoon, the cars will be given a chance to race around the track individually so as to define the starting order of Sunday's grid.

Sunday is when the real racing takes place. The cars are grouped into packs of 8 to 10 cars and are then set off around the circuit to provide a thrill for the drivers and spectators alike.
